Before the extreme competition on the Bergson Winter Challenge begins we would like to invite you to small winter competition (form of training) MINI BWC 2007.
This event is for everybody:
- for adventure racing profesionals - as a training before the winter challenge
- for amatour - as foretaste berofe the adventure
BASIC INFORMATION
Name of the Raid: MINI BERGSON WINTER CHALLENGE 2007

Region: South West Poland, Karkonosze Mountain, Rudawy Janowickie
Duration: 1 day, 12 hours (non stop)
Teams: 1 member (SOLO), 2 members (OPEN and MIX: man and woman)
Dates (include arrival and departure for the race): 19-21 January 2007
Date of start: 20 January 2006 08:00 am
Support crew: not allowed
Official languages: Polish and English
Awards: equipment and diplomas
TERRAIN
Competition will take place in surrounding of Kowary and Karpacz cities. Depending on weather conditions most of the race routs will go trough Karkonosze Mountains or Rudy Janowickie Mountains. Cross ski routes will be good quality – the routes are new, interesting and difficult near Przelecz Okraj.
CATEGORIES AND RIVALISATION
1. Stars categories
a) MINI race route: 20 km running, 40 km mountain biking
- SOLO – individual, regardless of sex
- OPEN – start in 2 person teams, regardless of sex
- MIX – start in 2 person teams, man and woman
b) MAXI race rout: 20 km running, 40 km mountain biking, 10 km cross country skiing
- SOLO – individual, regardless of sex
- OPEN – start in 2 person teams, regardless of sex
- MIX – start in 2 person teams, man and woman
